Help Buying a 2000 outback sedan

Featured Replies

I am looking at a purchasing a 2000 outback sedan w/ 91000miles. i was wondering if there was anything specific i should check out, know issues with this model around this mileage. or if anyone could point me in the direction of another place where outback owners gather and chat and could help me out before i purchase. thanks in advance.

really most outbacks in general are owned by older people who generally take great care of their subies, check for service records, if you have the vin you can go to http://www.my.subaru.com and look at the service history, most subies if they have issues are minor and an easy fix, i drive a 93 Legacy with 187,000 miles on and have no issues, use your intuition and listen to the motor before your purchase

Where are you located? I have an 87 that has been a great truck other than issues with the 700R4 tranny.

Did I miss something??!!?!!?
