I have an 81 subaru and interested in knowing who does your carburetor and distributor work.

For most of us, Weber does teh carburetor work, and the boneyard does the dizzy work.

 

Your best bet on the carburetor, is to obtain a proper service manual, and a junkyard carburetor of the same type. Rebuild the junkyard unit, that way if you screw it up you have your original.

My research on these Subaru forums shows that there are master craftsmen of Subaru maintenance sprinkled throughout the country.
