Hi there all im new here, I have been getting a EJ25T build from ground full forged internals, blue printed, balanced (0.5g), ported polished etc this is a semi closed deck 2.5L engine capable of exces of 700hp. Just wanting to see your guys views on what turbo, extractors, wastegate and intercooler selection.

 

Still dont know if want it front mount or top also am aiming for 500hp so correct turbo is going to be a biggy. Dont want to go overkill but still want to make at least 500 horses.

With that much power, I'd highly recommend a front mount over a top mount.

 

Not sure about the turbo, but to make that kind of power, it's obviously going to be a huge turbo. External wastegate is also probably a must or highly desired.

 

BTW, what are you planning to stick this motor into, and are you wanting 500 wheel horsepower or 500 crank horsepower?
