442olds Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 Hello, everyone. I just purchased a 2001 Outback Limited wagon (manual trans), with 142000 miles, and love it! Great on gas, and fun to drive. I have no previous experience with Subaru (drove GM for years, and do have two Oldsmobiles and two Chevy trucks), but I hear they are really dependable. This car seems to have been well maintained, with a new timing belt and tires just this year. I'm still learning how everything works in the car (got a lot of cool features). I do have an 87 442 in the garage that I found this summer. Hope to get it running and driveable by spring. Hope this Subaru will last for a while...if it does good, might buy another one.
