First-time Outback owner

Hello, everyone. I just purchased a 2001 Outback Limited wagon (manual trans), with 142000 miles, and love it! Great on gas, and fun to drive. I have no previous experience with Subaru (drove GM for years, and do have two Oldsmobiles and two Chevy trucks), but I hear they are really dependable. This car seems to have been well maintained, with a new timing belt and tires just this year. I'm still learning how everything works in the car (got a lot of cool features). Hope to post a pic soon of the car.

Welcome to Subaru ownership. I am a new user to the forum but long time Subaru owner. My first was a 88 that I bought in 89. I have had quite a few over the years, still have three. Also long time lover of GM muscle cars (first car 68 Camaro).

Know what you mean about GM musclecars...grew up on fast Oldsmobiles, like the W-30. I do have an 87 442 in the garage that I found this summer. Hope to get it running and driveable by spring. Hope this Subaru will last for a while...if it does good, might buy another one.
