July 1, 201114 yr Have any gen 1 brat owners had success fitting either camber plates from another car or a custom application?
July 1, 201114 yr I was thinking about do this. I guess I will start looking into what might work and see if i can make it happen. If you get to it before i do then make a thread!!! and i will do the same if i do it also where in Alb. do you live? Edited July 1, 201114 yr by whitesti400
July 1, 201114 yr The one thing I will warn you though, the gen 1 strut towers are not very big so make sure you find a camber plate that will fit into the tower itself.
July 23, 201114 yr Author Hmmm, I was hoping for a drop-in solution, but I suppose the second-best choice is is anything that will fit in the diameter of the tower. I'm going to have to put the search on hold for the time, so anyone more adventurous should feel free to post!
May 27, 201213 yr Author So clearly I haven't pursued adapting a pair of camber plates. The real issue is the horrendous positive camber these little trucks sport that make going around corners a questionable affair. What other ways are there to negative-out the camber? Any substitute suspension arms that might do it?
