Greetings to all. Just registered. I have an 87 EA82 grafted into a VW trans axle on a trike.

 

I am interested in the ability to upgrade to a 2.2 or 2.5 but I would prefer to run a distributor and a carb. Is this possible?

Hi Mac This is Jerry, i have a 1980 hatchbrat that i have a 96 imperza 2.2 engine in it with a holley 4 barrel carb. call me and i will let you know all about it. 1-509-952-2855 Thanks Jerry

FYI - be sure to do some reading on the 2.5 head gasket issues before you decide to go that route...
