IDK about mounting, but the ND alts from the early 90s MOPARs are very small and pretty light (approx 60A output too)

 

Is the prop mounted directly to the driveshaft? or is there some sort of transmission? Can you replace the flywheel with a flexplate? (See: newer EJ20 motors. There's nothing to them!)
