UBBandrew
Whatsup everybody? I wanted to give all you Subaru enthusiasts out there a heads up about Subaru and United by Blue's Anacostia River Cleanup. The cleanup is on July 21st and will take place from 10am to 2pm. If you're interested please sign up on our website, it's quick and easy: http://www.unitedbyblue.com/cleanup/washingtondc Subaru is proud to partner with organizations that make a difference and have teamed up with us, United By Blue, to remove thousands of pounds of trash from our world's oceans and waterways. After gracious volunteers (many of them Subaru owners) chipped in to remove nearly 4,000 pounds of trash in 2011 we're back at the Anacostia River and have our sights set high for 2012. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, more than 20,000 tons of trash and debris enter the Anacostia's waters each year. Bad news for the 800,000 people living within the river's watershed which includes the eastern half of DC and significant portions of Prince George’s County and Montgomery County in MD. If you'd would like to get a good portion of that trash out, we're equipped to help you in any way. We'll provide breakfast and lunch, and bring the games, gloves, and supplies. Together, with your helping hands we're ready for anything. Thanks for reading! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at andrew@unitedbyblue.com.
