BOSS 4" EA82 lifts available to order

Featured Replies

I've finalized my 4" EA82 lift design and I am now ready to fill orders for them. The lift uses 3" crossmember spacers and 4" strut spacers. Camber remains as close to stock as possible. Each kit comes with all the USS Grade 8 bolts you will need to install, but it does not come with any Metric bolts, or a steering extension. You will also have to modify your shifter linkage as well. Price is $400 plus $40 shipping inside the U.S.

Please let me know if your car is an automatic trans or a 5-speed. Thanks!

Awesome, thinking the same thing as Haight. I'm currently comparing this with an sjr 4" lift. There's about twice as many pieces, and my brain can't quite place all of them. Please help my noobishness..

My kit includes blocks to lower every component of the subframes 3" and the suspension 4", so the suspension geometry stays relatively stock, so every block pictured is where there is a suspension component.

Just trying to picture this all in my head still... When the entire suspension is lowered that much, what happens to the shift assembly/linkage? Does that need to be adjusted/modified?

Yes, with any kit that spaces the body there will have to be modifications to the shifter linkage, steering link, and the anti-pitch bar on the back of the motor. Also you will have to source radiator hoses, possibly longer heater hoses, maybe have to lengthen some ground wires, and remove the mechanical fan shroud or remove the fan altogether. Brake lines usually won't have to be extended, you can remove the lines from the body clips and bend the lines down to get the length you need. It sounds like a lot but it's not that much to do when you get down to doing it.

Thanks Bill, that helps fill a lot of gaps in my understanding. Will be PMing you about these soon hopefully!!
