New 1997 Legacey outback owner. New To Subaru

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Hi I'm new to Subaru as a company, my buddu is a huge fan so when my last car (89 corolla) died i searched for a subaru and landed on my '97 legacy outback. so far this car has blown me away. i am becoming a bigger fan of racing and starting to get into the process of upgrading and aftermarket. i would love any information into the vehicals that anyone is willing to share old stories or advice on repairs, i would love to learn more about the cars and the comunity that surounds them

Welcome to the forum . The Subaru is not a cheap car to hop up. Aftermarket performance parts are high priced .

Welcome! You came to the right place. What engine does your outback have? That will determine some of your future maintenance path.

And what sort of aftermarket are you looking for? Going fast and furious or camping/trail riding?
