For my EJ251 block and EJ25D head engine, Fell-Pro recommends part # 26167PT head gasket for the EJ25D and part # 26415PT for the EJ251, so which should I use? And why (for my Subaru education)?

 

Also, I hope my choice of Fel-Pro head gaskets is a good one??

I would not use fel pro.

 

OEM only.  I believe you will want the 25D gasket (water ports match the heads)
