EA82T can squeeze inside a 77 wagon ?!

It's been done. Just takes a lot of modifications. The EA 82 is a much wider engine. You have the cut the inner frame rails to get clearance for the wider motor. That is just to start.

Not worth it.

 

EJ22 would be better and easier.

 

Either will require frame rail notching.
