Just picked up an 85 BRAT, mechanics good, Interior great,  working on rusted areas. Biggest problem is the panels under the bumpers and tailgate. Any suggestions appreciated.

Yeah I agree...everything looks pretty good other than those panels.  Short of cutting out the rust and putting new custom panels in there, I'm not sure what to tell you.  You may want to also post over in the 80's section to see if others have any thoughts.
