I knew there had to be a good forum on Subaru's. Figured I'd join since I bought my first Subaru yesterday (I'm a Jeep guy). 

However I found mine when I was driving through my town. It is a 1994 Subaru Loyale 5 spd with push button 4wd and 174,xxx miles on it. I got the car for a heck of a deal too. An older lady who worked in a national park who no longer needed it because she got a new car. She was asking only 600 smackers. I couldn't resist the price for the condition it was in so I went to the back and picked the money and bought my first Subaru. Looking forward to getting some good information from you all. Thanks 

Congratulations and welcome to Subaru ownership!  You did get a great deal - wonderful.  There's a reason Subaru named a car the Loyale.  I bought my first Subaru (a Loyale sedan) in 1985 and just bought my sixth one late last week - a 2015 Impreza sedan.  You should get many happy miles out of your new baby.
