April 7, 201510 yr Looking at timing belt kits on Amazon and have run across a couple of them. I know that a lot of members here use the Gates kit for 153.00, but can anyone give me a review on the Evergreen kit? It's only about $20 bucks more and looks to provide more components. (I won't presume to know what all of them are on sight.) There's also an AC Delco kit that provides three additional idler pulleys that I don't believe come with the other two kits. I'm just not sure which would provide me the best value. I'm leaning towards Evergreen, but like I said, a lot of people rave about Gates. April 9, 201510 yr The gates kit won't come with cam and crank seals, which are the brown, circular seals on the evergreen kit. The gates also doesn't show the water pumpt and thermostat gasket, but I'm sure it has them. The delco kit has the same stuff as the gates kit. As for the brands, of those three, I've only used gates. Although, that evergreen looks familiar. I believe aisin is the oem manufacturer. If you get one without the cam and crank seals, I'd recommend getting some.
