Hey yall. I am looking for some help with either rebuilding/refreshing my ea62 which is in an amphibious atv I am restoring or swapping in something else. If I swap it would have to be able to bolt up to my type 1 vw transmission. Also width is limited and weight is critical. Any input would be helpful. Also is there anywhere I can get parts for the ea62 besides ebay?

Oh and I would like to upgrade to Efi if possible. Can this be done on the ea62 with parts from a later model subaru engine?

I'd suggest posting in the Subaru transplant & old gen forum as some of the members that frequent those forums more may be able to answer your questions.
