Guest Flowmastered87GL
There is a group just north of Battleground that have started a Rallycross Club and have a big field. They have already run a couple of events and are gaining experiance. They have an event scheduled for August 9th that sounds like great fun. Check their website http://www.fieldracing.com/index.htm They are working their schedule around SCCA Oregon division so you can do both. With the limited events the SCCA is running, this could be great fun! Come out and give it a try! I found the info here: NASIOC.com....

Guest Flowmastered87GL
One thing to note for everyone.... I asked him about insurance and helmets, no reply... so run at your OWN RISK... If I do indeed run, it will be at 90% probably, no way I would go all out with no insurance
Guest SuperRallyVovo
I guess i'm going... I will prolly not have the subaru running by then, but I will do some work today, so ya never know?
Guest Flowmastered87GL
I got an e-mail back finally, there are a couple of helmets floating around (like 2 I think he said). There is a liability waiver to protect the land owner. No insurance to protect those involved (I think that SCCA has it) I am gonna run anyway, but if the field is rough, I will take it easy. Guest edrach
Mike, where on their website did you see that the entry was only $10 if you entered on the website? I can't seem to find it.

Guest edrach
Rumor has it that the event has been cancelled. Anyone else who can confirm this?
Guest edrach
Event cancelled. Here's the info from the organizer: To all Racers, Due to the lack of water in the Portland area we will not have a water wagon for the event on the ninth. I had one reserved and found out that I will not be able to rent it now. I have called several rental companies in Vancouver and Portland. The closest one is Bend Or And the delivery cost is more than the rental. With that, I have to sadly and officially announce the event canceled due to safety and lack of interest. I have put hundreds of dollars and hours into trying to make a go of this and I do not want a small bump to destroy your ability to participate in Rally at this level. I will move forward towards the next event, plan on two water wagons (so I can get one) and I hope that you can do the same and plan on attending September 27th. If you have comments, concerns or questions please contact me.
