bugeye72 Posted December 26, 2015 Share Posted December 26, 2015 replacing 03 wrx ej20 engine with low compression... found low miles wrecking yard motor with guarantee to run good!! cheep!! cheep!! but only catch is that car was a head on collision wreck that damaged cam pulleys and timing covers.. belt was missing :[ oh well so here i go replaced all pulleys idle bearings, water pump etc getting ready to install new belt.. every thing looks good replaced valve cover seals and gaskets still looks ok but when timing motor is there anything special i should be aware of to assure that both cams are in correct timing? can one side be 180 degrees off? thanks for any help..
