Brand spankin new 1982 brat owner

Hi all, Thanks for welcoming me to the forum. I'm a long time lurker trying to gather recon for my first subaru purchase, a 1982 brat in need of some serious TLC. I'm towing it home Saturday but I'm not worried because it "ran great when parked" and "with a new battery and fresh gas it'll run for sure..." and all such dubious reassurances from the seller. Anyhoo, the first order of business is to pitch the carter carb for a weber, but I'm looking to buy an ea81 or ea82 manifold to start the swap. I've had no luck in any of the Philadelphia area scrap yards. If any member here can help me out or point me in the right direction, I'd very much appreciate it! I'll post in the wanted section too.
