Transmission lubrication question

HI everyone. Was wondering if 'as I believe' The Subaru 6 speed manuals are an oil bath design for lubrication and don't use pumps.

 

This relates to flat towing my new Crosstrek. Two years ago. Subaru corp said that 'ALL' subaru's have to be on a trailer. Doesn't make sense as Corp has said manual Soobys have been towable for ages. I might detect the foul stench of corp liability lawyers and getting ahead of Subaru sending manuals to the bone yard and going 100% CVT. Which can't be towed.
