Hello from North Idaho

Hello everyone, just traded into a 93 Impreza and I am trying to diagnose some driveability issues, the transmission wants to hang up in 3rd gear and when it comes out the power light flashes. I replaced the oil pump and timing belt and need to do both front lower ball joints next.I have been over at nasioc for a few days and finally got a few answers but mostly name calling and such. I hope this board is a little friendlier. I work on all makes and models and am ASE certfied so feel free to ask me about anything. I specialize in late 60s musclecars, mainly Mopars. Thanks for any input.
