Do all the EA82 engines have the same bolt pattern?

Are you referring to engine-to-transmission bolt pattern? AFAIK, all of the ea82s are the same casting, and the patterns are all the same. EA81 is the same pattern, too.

Yes. Engine to trans. My 91 EA82 has a bolt on section on the rea of the engine (bell housing of sorts) which then bolts to the trans.
