im wanting to replace my 96 GTB engin with an sti will it fit how much work or hasle is it to do.. as my GTB has blowin twice now in the 7 days that i have had it. im thinking that the gtb motor is not up to my diving therefor i think an up grade in engin my fix the prob..what yous reckon..cheers

Whats a GTB engine? Is that the ej25 DOHC or the EJ20?

 

its the ej20 twin turbo

If it's blown twice in 7 days, I'd slap who ever fixed it. Any stock motor should take a week of ruthless abuse without breaking. If you turned the boost up and didn't compensate with better fuel, it's your fault.
