Thank you both for the info.

I did a search and checked out Eric's site last night.... Funny thing - I had found his site a month or so ago... Neat project and some nice work too..

I wanted to take this time to thank those who got involved in this thread.

And to let any and all Subaru Fans know - my Site is up...

So Please stop by my site and let others know about the site as well. With everyone's help and support - a dream can come true...

I hope to some day soon - be able to offer a 2 and 4WD Subaru Kit Car.

Also after talking and working with Mikie these past few months - and with his promission - I plan to post pictures and info. of Mikie's latest Porject on my site asap..

Thank You Again Sincerely, Tony

If you get the conversion down, i think you could offset the R&D by offering either kits or ready made trannies to kitcar and VW guys looking for AWD.I would also look into (maybe down the road) the custom center diff on the 5mt, might work, never know. oh, and obviously you would want to use a high strength double or better triple chain on that, to hold the power. (I know the Olds toranado had issues with its FWD tranny chain at over stock power levels.)
