Someone should add a note to the ECU codes guide that when the ECU gives out only short flashes (5-7 of them I think?) that it means there are no stored/current codes.

 

It can also be decoded to tell what kind of car and transmission it is.

 

I've seen way too many threads about people wondering what this code is, since it isn't in the guide.
