April 19, 200619 yr Author any pictures of the solenoid? which side of the carb? would carb cleaner or Marvel's work like seafoam?
April 20, 200619 yr the solenoid will be sticking out of the front of the carb on the driver's side. Has two wires going to it but one goes to a ground on the carb IIRC. Its big, can't miss it.
May 9, 200619 yr Author Fixed the problem!!!! :headbang::headbang::headbang: so it was probably the points but I just changed the whole disty for an electric one and it is sweeeeeeettttttt, it pulls harder than it did before and with no hesitation or sputter now I can't wait for my 14"pug alloys and the 205/60s that are going on them, it's waaaaaaayyyyyy too easy to toast the fronts
