July 21, 200619 yr I am currently having a 99 impreza 5-speed installed on my 99 auto sus. I found a JDM EJ20 twin turbo engine and was wondering if the EJ20(engine code is EJ20TT) would bolt up to the tranny. And if so, how much work would need to go into the car to get that engine in.
July 21, 200619 yr Engine will bolt to the tranny, however the largest problem is that the turbo on the driver's side interferes with the master brake cylinder as the engine was designed for right hand drive cars.

Im no car expert, so do I take it that it will not fit in the car? And could I possibly relocate the brake cylinder?
