Featured Replies

well it's my birthday on the 9th, so i'll be out at superstition mt's by elcentro if anyone wants to come out and play.

the majority of the runs will be moderate to difficult, options for other difficulty ratings... plenty of dunes and rocks, mixed with hard pack.

directions are from yuma, az... might be able to find some from hwy 86 and hwy 78

Directions:

1.

Merge onto I-8 WEST (mileage from giss parkway exit)

2.

Take Drew RD/Seeley EXIT, after EL Centro

3.

Turn Right on DREW RD

4.

At first Stop sign Turn Left on East Evans Hewe RD

5.

Turn Right on HUFF RD - go 2.2 mi

6.

Arrive at 32.881894,-115.718398

7.

32.881894,-115.718398

at this point turn left on Wheeler RD, just before the little sand hills (it's a dirt road.

follow wheeler road for a little ways, past the superstition mountains orv park sign. all the way to the base of the the big hills, with the radio towers, large rocks and sand. i'll be camping there, subaru, rei tent and possibly a few others.

not reccomending camping for children, will be running cb channel 1, if anyone wants to just meet out there for a day run or let me know to be expecting you.
