ok so im pretty shur it has points it is an ea71 has the voltage regulator on the iner fender and the little box on the coil also it has a porcelain condecer like on the old dodges and plymouths. i know you can take an ea81 coil and disty and use it. but i think my voltage regulator is bad. Well i have an internaly regulated alternator that i can put on the car and i want to know if i can just put it in and remove the external regulator.also how do i time it ? thanks alot guys.
