Idle problem fix

Hi, like many, I was having a lot of idling problems. With the idle adjusting screw all the way out, I could adjust the mixture screw and it would idle high just fine, but when I tried to get the idle down it would run like crap. Turns out that someone had set the throttle cable too tight, so even when the idle adjusting screw was all the way out, the carb was getting WAY too much gas. I backed out the idle adjusting screw and loosened the throttle cable and it made a huge difference, so if you are having an idle problem, I would definitely check that out first since it is easy to correct (although that is probably obvious to many!)
