Ea82 -> ej18 + noisy 4wd

Hi

It's been a while, since my last thead, in the mean time I have written off my dads 94 impreza, and my brother bougth a 88 gl. My dad repladrives a brat these days.

Anyway, my brother is probably going to sell his ae82 engined sedan, and i figured that I should buy it.

the car is in grat shape, nearly no rust, it looks bad, but is realy good. an other thing is that when you push the 4wd button it get's noisy, I mean like a growling sound, not good?

what's wrong with it?

So my idea was:

- buy the car, see if i bother to fix the 4wd problem.

- Replce the ea82 with a ej engine (probably ej18) of some sort.

I've also had an idea wich included four singel carbs, might be fun...
