loyalelover Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 i have an JDM 2.0 twin turbo engine sitting around my place. first i was thinking about building a sandrail, then the wild idea of putting this engine into either a loyale or a GL. with of course a 6 speed tranny. everything looks like it would fit nicely, although im not 100% on that. does anyone know for sure? fitting in both turbos will be a little tricky. concedering that the right side down pipe will run into the steering coloum. but luckily i have a pipe bender and a welder. Battlewagon Posted February 18, 2010 Share Posted February 18, 2010 Uh... if doing all that work to your steering column, plus custom welding all the subframe stuff is easy to you, then by all means, do it. Anyone can make anything work with time and money, but there is a reason there are only 3 functioning twin turbo Subarus in the states... and two of those are postal cars with the other one being custom right hand drive.
