krechet Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 Dear ALL, I have '86 DL Wagon 1.8L, FWD, manual, non-Turbo, carbureted. (EA82) (is it all needed? Recently ECS light started showing after I drive couple miles on the highway. Sometimes it goes off and then back on. I read a Chilton and didn't find anything about the light at all. I got from the forums that there should be the possibility to diagnose the ECU and find out what the light probably means. but how to do it? Seems like pretty basic knowledge but I don't have it.
