Guest xforxlifex
Will a blow off valve work well with an EA82T(89 rx 3dr hatch) if your boosting around 10-12 psi? If so what brands are suggested?

Guest SOOBME
Get one off of an RX7 or an Eclips, they are "by pass" valves and can be plumbed back into the intake hose before the turbo and after the AFM and they will work fine;)
Guest Skip
I run a Volvo, but Saabs have been used as the others mentioned Note because of the MAF employed by an EA82T a By Pass Valve (BPV) is recommended over the Blow Off Valve (BOV) as the metered air is fed back into the system. Hope this helps
Guest archemitis
i have never seen a starion intercooler that shape, arent they longer?... i like the ford and mada(turbo 626 and probe) bypass valves over the mitsubishi, or volvo, cuz they are bigger, where the boost flows through, and where it shoots it out. very easy to plumb inline too... but its plastic:p
Guest carfreak85
actually i was reading an article that compared a bunch of stock and aftermarket blow off valves, etc. and the OEM WRX recerculation. valve had the best overboost and oscillation control of any of the valves tested. just a thought! i can supply scans of the article if anyone is interested. Guest xforxlifex
ok so still a little confused but what would happen if i did go and put an aftermarket BOV on an ea82t, if that would even work.
