Spumco
Hey all! Need some help with Boo (82 GL wagon, manual shift, weber, 14" pugs). To make it short, the hill holder is vomiting fluid badly, and I'd just like to bypass it. I'm too cheap to replace something I don't need, and it hasn't worked since I've had the car (so I won't miss it). The only manual I have with me is the usless Chiltons, so there's no brake system diagram to reference. If someone could: a) send/describe a brake system diagram to me, that'd be sweet, or tell me which lines go where when a hill holder is removed. Looks like I'll need a T-block to do this, but I'm not sure. Any assistance greatly appreciated, as I'm trying to avoid "Run it up to speed and see if it stops straight..." method of diagnostics. By the way, I'm still looking for a cruise control servo for the thing, and maybe an aftermarket ign coil if anybody has one lying around. Thanks, Ralph Christy
