I'm interested in putting a bed topper on my 78 brat, though I've got to say I'm not a fan of the fiberglass ones we see in the US. I just learned about the Ilfor Williams toppers sold in the UK and I think they look a lot more like what I'm after. They're a steel frame with an aluminum inner skin. A Brit on Facebook has offered to find me a nice one for free if I pay freight. That leads me to a few questions of course. Did these get to Canada by any chance? Are toppers gen specific?
