Guest bratsrus1
Hi Everybody This is Jerry, i have a 86 brat and i am thinking about putting in a 5 speed trans. I would like to know if 5th gear 1 to 1 ratio like 4th gear is in a 4 speed trans. or is 5th gear an overdrive gear. Thanks Jerry

Guest bratsrus1
Hi McBrat Thanks for the info. looks like 5th gear is higher than 4th gear. Looks like i will start looking for a 5 speed trans. When i am on the freeway i would like to keep my rpm's a little lower at the speed i drive my brat,5 spped will do it. Thanks again Jerry

Guest racerK
Thanks! I'm trying to figure out with transmission to use, and having the gear ratios REALLY helps. I'm surprised to see such a difference between various models.
