Guest Tony D
My 1988 GL wagon is in terrible need of a new cat. Mine is all rusted out, and the bottom half of the heat sheild is falling off. I'm pretty sure its plugged up too, and giving me sluggish performence. I called Midas, and they wanted $380(!) to replace it. Is there any place i can get a cheaper cat? $380 is a LOT of money!

Guest qman
For discount catalytic converters check out this site. http://www.discountconverter.com/converts/subaru I found this site while surfing "subaru". The dealer wanted $578.00 for the cat. on my 86 GL-10 turbo. These guys wanted $180.00. Bolt in instalation also. Please pass this info on to all interested parties. Note: they cover all applications from 1980- 1994.
