FlyB0y
I was just wondering if anyone has tried this and if they can suggest any particular type of small truck topper that might be easily modified ... I'm going to need a topper pretty soon, and can't seem to find any Gen 2 toppers in my area that are available and the Gen 1 topper I have is too narrow, and it would be a shame to modify it anyway ... Gonna head to some junk yards and make some measurements ... thanks in advance for any info
Snowman
I have no idea what might work, but the old VW Rabbit pickups look to be of similar width to a Brat. The biggest issue with finding a topper to fit is that the Brat's bed rails curve, whereas most pickups have flat rails.
FlyB0y
ya ... I plan on taking a reg truck topper and fabricating the curve part in the front, looks like I found one in the local junk yard that I can modify, and it's only gonna run me $25 All I have to do is remove the front half of the front sliding side windows, fabricate the curve and then re-cut the glass on this topper for an S-10 ... just need to ask my neighbor to help me get it home with his S-10 truck
