Guest PHATBRAT
I know we have the archives and such but how about breaking everything down into categories For Example: EA81 N/A Engine dispacement and other info such as that Proven performance mods/gains Recommended parts (type spark plugs in order of recommendation) Sources of cheap parts Any mods/ideas in the works (trials/errors) Get the idea? Should be able to go to a page and pick which engine you have and click on a link which brings you to a page which strictly deals with that engine. Possibly the same with each model of car. If you have a GenI BRAT you would click on that which would bring you to a page that has info on it. When you get to the engine you would click on the EA71 link which in turn would bring you to another page detailing the engine and all info associated with it. If you want a link for wheels or trannys or interior or external accessories there should be a link. It may take a while but it will be MUCH more user friendly and will avoid the same questions over and over (Even for new people) What do you think? Guest SubieSTORMTROOPER
great idea. Soon I will be rebuilding an EA81 engine using the information I obtained about Subaru airplane engines...It will have a dual carb, machined cam, milled and beaded heads, and use the EA82 water cooled turbo...This setup has been rated at about 120 hp, and can be had for $6,000 complete, or more on the ends of $1500-$2000 with my own elbow grease...
