Distance Commuter
I know, there's a Subie-Vanagon board here, but no recent posts so maybe nobody's looking there. A friend has an '86 VW Westfalia camper/bus with a blown VW engine. How big or small a job is it to put in a Subie engine?? Maybe less expensive than a VW transplant? Son-in-law's family (or something like that) owns a Subie dealership so that might make some things a bit easier if someone there is interested in the project. ccrinc
Go to Yahoo Subaru-Vanagon Group. Tons of information there. Devoted to nothing but converting Vanagons to Subaru engines. Yes, it will be less expensive overall than replacing the VW engine. Emily http://www.ccrengines.com
