Guest oregonloyale
Im changing the rear and front diff. oil this weekend, car has 96K and never been done. The haynes manual syas something about putting some addative in the diff oil if I have a LSD and I dont know If I do? My 92 loyale ea82 auto tranny wagon has a push button AWD so I can drive on bare pavement if I want.Anybody know if I need the addative by my description? :|
Guest GlCraigGT
Okay, look at the label on the rear diff it it says in bold print LSD, then you do. If not then you don't. As for your transmission, if there is a button on the shifter then it's 4WD not AWD. Driving on dry pavement in 4WD will cause damage to your drive train . Also if it's only a 3-speed automatic then it's most defiantly a 4WD not AWD,
Guest oregonloyale
Thanx alot and yes it is a 3speed auto. You have just sumed up another question of mine. I will look at the rear diff for the insignia.
