  1. Repacing Legacy engine

    Grahams101 posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    We noticed not long after purchasing the '03 Subaru Legacy she had some cold engine noise. Not in a panic especially when the engine did quiet down after warming up, but now its in the shop for a new engine (under warranty). I find it a bit baffling to think that some valve noise causes Subaru to have to replace the engine. Any thoughts on this are welcome. Perplexed in Peterborough
