ok guys, I will replace the plugs,wires and coil. Can I just take the converter off and replace it with a straight pipe? WIll it hurt anything? I dont have to worry bout emissions either.

Oh, yeah and my turbo light, lights all the way up when i BEARLY push the gas, i am SURE the turbo doesent spool that fast:rolleyes: unless the sensor is out?

the car has to be reved up to around 2400 rpm to take off then it wont go over 4500 rpm maybe it can also be the maf?

I just picked up a 1985 xt turbo it has the ea82 engine in it but its running really bad I am sure its because the turbo is out. I want to get another turbo, maybe a bigger one? or a ported one? which turbos will bolt right up? I dont no much about these imports but I have tooken my 350 engine rebuild it and drop it back in, in my camaro. So how hard would it be to change out he turbo and stuff?
