thanks for the suggestions, is it pretty difficult to install all the fittings,and adjust them. the mechanic said the fuel metering was bad, is there anything else I can do besides buy or rebuild to fix that. a friend has a couple of parts cars one is an 83 and the other is an 82, I havent looked at them,but would their carbs(if not fi) fit right on mine with the same fittings and hoses??? thanks John

I need a carburetor rebuilt, the mechanic quoted $387 to rebuild and install, is this a normal price to pay? Or maybe you guys(and girls) can let me know of a good source for buying one rebuilt? I have an 1981 wagon with an ea81. thankyou. John

well Ive installed the pump, but now where do I wire it to. it needs to be shut off even if the key is in on position. and one more question, why are there three fuel lines from the tank? the small filter is on a smaller diameter line than the main line which I installed the pump on. thanks

thank you to all of you, I wasnt sure if that little box was the pump. I got a universal pump from napa today, but I wont get it in till tomorrow, I'll let you know if thats the problem, thanks again John

Hello all just bought an 81 wagon with 127000 miles, ran ok for a few days, but when accelerating it would bog down like it wasn't getting any fuel, but if I acceleratded hard(floored it) it would make a clicking sound and rev up real high and would drive fast??? I gave it a tune up and new fuel filter and hasnt helped, I can tell there isn't much fuel getting to the filter, so i'm guessing that is a fuel pump issue, which brings me to my question Where is the fuel pump. any information or pictues you can tell/show me would be great. Thanks John
