BTW: I got mine for 20 bucks down at the local auto parts store. Those two are going for 40 plus 15 bucks shipping.

I have the first one (the "turbo") on my loyal. Didn't really see any power increase. Nice sound though.

I took the clutch fan off of mine (still have the electric fan). The only issue is that it runs a little hot when idling in the dead of summer with the a/c on. Never overheats though.

So my 92 Loyale with a EA-82 tbi is idling really slow. It hovers right around 400rpm. The thing is it only does this when warm and when in gear (3 sp auto). I noticed a couple of days ago, the voltage meter acting crazy. Shooting up to 17 amps, then down to 8 or so. Could the drop in idle be due to a shot voltage regulator? I was planning on dropping in a new alternator this weekend and was wondering if I should do anything else while I had the car torn apart.

I think they only sell 5W-40 to all of you that live in really cold climates. I have never seen it here in pa.

I'm a little embarrassed to post this, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the old O2 sensor out so I can change it. The car is a 92 Loyale with a N/A EA82 and three speed auto. The problem is the heat shield for the cat is blocking the base of the sensor. You know, the area with the bolt like pattern. Short of cutting the heat shield off (the mounting bolts have long since rusted into the cover itself) does anyone have any ideas? I would really like to keep the heat shield because the passenger side cv joint is right above it.
