I've already tried all that, based on the repair manual. It's locked into the hub somehow, and won't release. The passenger side popped right out and was a snap to replace, but the drivers side is a diff story.

if the drive axle can't be removed from the wheel assembly using a gear puller or a sledge hammer, how can you remove it? please help.
