  1. If you lock the doors with the factory remote or lock the doors with a door open, and later start the car with the remote starter, the alarm goes off. I think this is because the dome light lights when the ignition goes to the ON state when starting, but for what ever reason I don't know how to disable the factory alarm so I was asking here.
  2. What is the best way to disable the Factory Alarm? I installed a remote starter and now need to disable the Factory Alarm. The diagrams I have say the module should be behind the glove box, but I must be blind... I got to drive on 5" of Richmond, VA snow.. what a blast.. I now have traction, room for 4 adults and a great big trunk... quite a step from my suicidal ( only on snow ) 2000 Toyota MR2.. :-)
  3. I had a 67 Mustang that would smoke for a second or two when starting after it had been turned off for a while. Other than that I could not tell I had a problem.
