  1. ok i thank everyone who answered my add but i had to fix it my self..... after two weeks of pulling my hair out i found that my fuel pump had a flat spot in it when i tested it it had 25 psi ...but it was working then every once in a while it would drop off pressure down to 10 or 15 psi making enuff pressure to fire two cylinders and then miss fire the other two( two the guy who had a miss fire in 1 and 3 cyl codes check your fuel pump presser i could not find your post to tell you after i fixed mine )
  2. i have an 97 legacy that runs great for about an hour or two then starts to die for no reason at all..2.2 engine then when you start it again its fine for a few min, next day its fine for an hour or so again. this car dose lots of idleing as my wife uses it to deliver mail house to house. i have replaced fuel filter ,cleaned sock in fuel tank, replaced plugs and wires,egr is working fine, pulling vacuum line off fuel rail dos no differants,catalistic converters are clean not pluged, when it starts to run bad its like someone put a banana in my tail pipe,when it runs it runs great it happens more when it idles a long time i have pulled out some codes from computer but i dont no what thay mean and my book dosnt tell me anything codes p 0170 p0301b p0302 p0303 p0304b p0440 can anyone help me .......also dose it matter that this is an right hand drive car from down under ?
